Jackrabbits at The Sea Ranch
When Rick and I drove into The Sea Ranch yesterday for our birding outing, there in front of a house were these three Jackrabbits. They didn't run and hide when we stopped so I could take a picture. So, who was looking at whom?
It must be a good year for jackrabbits in California. We saw one on Mt. Burdell the other day. Cooper just about stepped on it before it bolted. Then we had a good laugh watching our Golden get outrun (and outwitted) by a silly rabbit.
Rabbits are FAST! There's a Brush Rabbit living near our driveway. Still haven't gotten a photo. Almost managed this morning but Huckleberry spotted it. All I got was an empty driveway and the behind of a golden.
